An Indian-origin man in Britain has pleaded not guilty to the attempted murder of a Sikh religious leader.
Harjit Singh Toor, 27, from Oadby, Leicestershire pleaded not guilty at the Nottingham Crown Court to the attempted murder of Sri Satguru Uday Singh Ji, spiritual head of the Namdhari community, BBC reported Tuesday.
The religious leader was allegedly assaulted at the Gurdwara Namdhari in Linden Street, Leicester Aug 11.
