‘Laws are meant to be broken’
This cliche is known by many but there are some bizarre laws which you might not even realize when you break them.
Mostly these wacky laws seem to be inspired by myths which are followed by the locals and many rules date back to several hundred years and were never amended according to new arena.
Read on some of the ridiculous and dumb laws from around the world which left us in awe and shock.
- Keep Smiling or Else Face a Fine.
In Milan, Italy it’s a compulsion to smile at all times. If you frown you might have to shell out a good hefty fine.
- It is unlawful to fart in public Places after 6pm.
This bizarre law is in one of the most progressive countries- Florida. You would be deemed to have been causing a public nuisance, so you best run home first to do it in a little bit of privacy.
- Proxy Weddings is legitimate in Montana.
In Montana, “proxy weddings” are allowed for those who are in the military service. A friend can pretend to be the groom or the bride. This is totally out bizarre.
- Do not sing after sunset in Hawaii!
Yes you read it absolutely right. In Honolulu, Hawaii, it is illegal to sing loudly after sunset.
- It is illegal to tell kids about LGBT Community!
In Russia, Vladimir Putin just recently made law which doesn’t allow people to tell their kids that gay people exist.
- Start believing in God or else lose your job!
In seven U.S. states, according to their constitutions, atheists are excluded from holding public office.
- Can’t kiss and Tell in Iowa!
In Iowa, it is illegal for a man with a mustache to kiss a woman in public.
