From our own child hood, we have seen many child actors who have played memorable roles on the small screen.

Some child actors grow up to become actors and actresses while others understand later that their acting is not their calling and move towards some other career directions.

Let’s have a look at some well known prodigies who we are eagerly awaiting to see in major roles again.

1. Tanvi Hegde aka Frooty from Sonpari

We all loved the character of Frooty from the serial Son Pari. Don’t we?  The actress not only worked in small screen but also did few films like Champion, Vaah! Life Ho To Aisi, Gaja gamini and several others. Now recently we came across her many photo shoots of Tanvi where she looks a big girl. She looks pretty and can be offered in any feature film soon.

 

2. Jhanak Shukla aka Karishma from Karishma Ka Karishma

Right now she is focusing on her studies and pursuing BA from Bhavans College in Mumbai. This famous child actress who is daughter of renowned actor Supriya Shukla is all grown up and looks very cute. She made comeback in the serial Gumraah.  Reportedly she was approached for the child actor’s role in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s movie Black but she denied as she was not free for that role.

3. aka Sanju from Shakalaka Boom Boom

Sanju from the most popular kids show is now handsome hunk. It looks like magical pencil did its work. You won’t believe but he started his acting at the tender age of four.

4. Sunny Singh from Dekh Bhai Dekh

Sunny Singh who played the role of Shekhar Suman’s son is now a grown up man and was seen in the movie Paathshala but it was a dud at Box office though. He looks handsome and became quite famous after the movie among girls. He was also seen in the movie English Babu Desi Mem as well.

5. Karishma Acharya aka Abha from Dekh Bhai Dekh

Remember Karishma from serial Dekh Bhai Dekh who used to play the role of Vishal’s little sister Abha. She left acting and now she is successful costume designer and stylist. She found her career in fashion designing and not acting.

6. Avinash Mukherjee aka Jagya from Balika Vadhu

Avinash who played the male protagonist in the famous serial Balika Vadhu made a comeback with serial Itna Na Karo Mujhe Pyar where he was Ronit Roy’s son. But still he couldn’t create that impact that he did during his debut serial. We hope he gets more serials.

7. Aditya Kapadia

From Just Mohabbat to Shakalaka Boom Boom to Son Pari, Aditya Kapadia has done many memorable roles during his child hood. It’s hard to believe but there was a buzz that he got engaged to one of his co stars. He was last seen in the serials like Bade Ache Lagte Hai and Code Red.
