Salman acknowledges Shahrukh Khan’s movie Chennai Express’ success in a recent press conference held for Bigg Boss
Salman Khan will soon be seen on small screen hosting Bigg Boss- saath 7 as the show launches on the 15th of September, 2013. In a recent press conference held for the same show, the Dabangg Khan answered some tricky questions by the media and like always most of them revolved around his arch-nemesis Shahrukh Khan.
While Salman answered most questions politely, it was this one particular question that left him a bit annoyed and he decided to shut mouths once and for all! A certain reporter asked him about the ‘now infamous hug that happened in Baba Siddique’s iftar party’ and questioned whether things are now sorted between the two Khans? This is what Salman had to say, “During those days it was time of Ramadan, a holy month. So it becomes mandatory for me to meet and greet everyone, I was just Being Human. And frankly we (Shahrukh and I) aren’t the kind of people who will be rude on face but instead beat each other by work. Now if you see he did exactly that, got a hit (Chennai Express) and now he’s riding high on success.”
Wow, this answer almost left everyone gasping! Shocked by how easily Salman acknowledged SRK’s success the reporters had nothing more left to ask. But could this be a beginning of a new feud where both will try to bring each other down by releasing hits? Or such honest statements by both lead them to dissolve all differences? In any case, it is us audience who will benefit as we will get to see many more entertainment-packed movies by the Khans!
