It all started when Alia made her first appearance this season and without the slightest hint of reluctance said that the Chopra chick has a horrid dressing sense. Of course she later tried to coat that insult with layers of sweetened remarks. When she later said in an interview that Pari is one babe who makes her insecure because of her incredible command over her language, it sounded like some sort of a ‘reputation management’ strategy. No one wants to be labelled as the ultimate catty babe of Bollywood right?
But then Pari, the sweet gal that she is has always made a spicy omelette out of all the eggs thrown at her. The way she reacts to such jibes directed at her speaks volumes about her calm and mature demeanour.
I wonder why Karan got them together on the show again. What is he trying to prove, or should I say what are they trying to prove? Are the two babes trying to show that they remain unperturbed by all the reports that are splashed about them in the media? If they are really trying to that, it definitely doesn’t reflect in their body language. And if you see the promo, you see how Alia does it again, take a dig at her in her own sweet and subtle way, and make it look like it’s all in good and harmless jest.
