There’s a lot of speculation hovering in the air if Rohit Shetty will be able to carry the show on his two strong shoulders. Comparisons with previous hosts Akshay Kumar and Priyanka Chopra are obviously inevitable. But Shetty is optimistic; he says action is in his blood. The director also revealed in a recent interview that this time around the audience won’t see gross stuff like contestants feasting on worms and snakes circling around their bodies. Well, can’t assure if there’s any grain of truth to that one. But one thing’s for sure, that since the show is shot in Cape Town, along with some adventure expect to get a glimpse of some really exotic locations. The show will be aired in March on Colors and the shoot is on in full swing. Rohit, I hear is being ruthless, and the contestants are finally getting a taste of this ‘survival of the fittest’ game.
Let’s have a look at the contestants…
Mugdha Godse: Looks like the babe is really short of movie offers. So adventure beckoned, and I am sure it must have been difficult to resist this tempting offer. If the leggy lass has it in her to give the other chicks some tough competition; we will have to wait for it to watch it on the show.
Rajneesh Duggal: Rajneesh is a Bhatt camp favourite. He was seen in flicks like 1920 and in Dangerous Ishq along with Karisma Kapoor. The lad looks all fit and fabulous. Doesn’t seem like it will be a task for him to hang from the harnesses and indulge in some high-octane stunts.
Ajaz Khan: Khan has obviously never used his brains much, haven’t seen him using much of it in Bigg Boss. But will he be putting those brawns into good use on KKK? I just hope he does rather than falling flat on his face.
Gauhar Khan and Kushal Tandon: Gauhar has always been super competitive. She is always ready to slug it out and she competes even when she’s not supposed to. I hope the reality show will help her channelize all that hot energy of hers in the right direction. And about Kushal, I hear he is already out of the show. Poor delicate darling, looks like he couldn’t take much of all that physical torture.
Salman Yusuff Khan: Salman comes across as an extremely humble and hardworking guy. He looks fit and flexible. And somehow I am rooting for this underdog, there’s something magically genuine about him which makes you want him to walk back home with the trophy.
Pooja Gor: Quite a known face on the small screen, Pooja has also been disqualified by now. At least that’s what the rumour suggests. Looks like surviving is no cakewalk on KKK.
Ranvir Shorey: RS is an actor par excellence, but he just doesn’t come across as one of those ‘stunts give me an adrenaline rush’ kind of a guy. But never underestimate anyone, I can imagine Koko (Konkana Sen Sharma) rooting and hooting for her hubby at the highest possible decibel level.
Dayanand Shetty: For a change Daya won’t be breaking doors (remember Daya darwaza tod do?), he will be breaking a leg I hope. Go Daya, make us proud!
Rochelle Maria Rao: This sexy babe was crowned the Miss India International in 2012. Is she a toughie or a la-di-da ‘I won’t do this stunt, I won’t do that stunt’ kind of a babe, we will get to see that very soon.
