There was fierce competition between Karan Sagoo and Vijay, and eventually Singh ended up winning the Haryanvi jat’s heart. The two also smooched on the show we hear. So after a lot of drama and dance, Ms Sherawat has finally found someone who can come somewhat close to being her companion, at least that’s what she claims.
The point is how much of this is genuine?
We have seen swayamvar based shows before, from Rakhi Sawant to Ratan Rajput, none of them were seen anywhere close to the guy they proudly chose on the show, on national television,in front of a huge crowd. If we have to believe gossip mongers, it’s the exorbitant moolah that makes them resort to such lovey-dovey relationship talk in front of the cameras. Apart from Rahul and Dimpy Mahajan, none of the celebs have managed to crack the love code with all that TRP boosting fake romance on TV.
Why we think it’s a sham
The other suitor Karan Sagoo is a pretty established NRI guy who owns a hot-shot restaurant in London and Vijay Singh is a model from Dharamshala, and going by our instincts he looks like one of those struggling wannabes. So are you trying to tell us that Ms Sherwat is so blind in ‘lurvee’ that the 37-year-old babe ditched the financially secure, good-looking Karan for a 24-year-old Singh, who’s fairly younger to her and is still trying to find his spot under the sun. Mallika we can already predict the excuse you are going to give within a couple of months… ‘he was too immature for my tastes’, ‘there was a huge age gap’..blah blah!
New development
It seems the makers are now trying to rope in Ekta Kapoor or Veena Malik for the second season of the show. Well what can we say, for heaven’s sake, we know the results already. Real money for a fake relationship, quite a deal, eh?
