We are talking about actress-turned-reality show judge Archana Puran Singh replacing Farah Khan as a judge on TV’s next reality venture, Entertainment Ke Liye Kuch Bhi Karega!
Okay, hold your horses!
This isn’t about the Indian judicial system, which anyways requires more judges to speedily dispose off the mounting pile of cases in its various courts. We are talking about actress-turned-reality show judge Archana Puran Singh replacing Farah Khan as a judge on TV’s next reality venture, Entertainment Ke Liye Kuch Bhi Karega! Farah Khan is busy with the shoot of her next movie, Happy New Year and since her dates clashed with the reality show, Archana had to be called in for a temporary replacement.
The important thing to note here is “temporary”.
Yeah, for if she was to permanently co-judge the show in Anu Malik’s company; the sale of migraine medication would skyrocket across the country. Now that could be good news for pharmaceutical companies (are they lobbying to get these two together or what? Arvind Kejriwal, you there?) But surely none of us want business profits at the cost of health. So it’s good that she is going to be a judge, just for a week!
But this piece of news has given some food for thought.
Imagine a scenario, where an aspiring contestant is performing a stunt, with full dedication and sincerity, maybe a risky, dangerous stunt and just as the poor chap begins, he hears a soft laughter turning into a wild howl! He stops in his tracks and turns around to see, Archu sitting in her judge’s seat and laughing out loud. Only taking a break to tell him, that’s what she does best when an act begins or ends!! And to think of it, if Anu Malik tries to compete with her, thinking that she is a strong competitor, all hell will break loose. Archana’s wild laughter, interrupted by Anu’s crazy singing will in itself be a boring piece of entertainment.
Not to be left behind, Krushna Abhishek’s funny antics to divert attention on self rather than these two silly judges will make sure that no contestant is required for the show. These three can be enough to act as candidates and judge each other’s performance and bring out the winner from amongst themselves.
Well that was maybe an analysis gone way too far but the fact is show’s producers have actually got an interesting replacement for Farah Khan. After all, reality shows these days do require over the top performers and judges alike. Who better than Archana Puran Singh to fit the role to the T?
So guys, get hold of your remotes, check the volume controls, and make sure kids and elderly are protected as coming soon on your TV screens to shake the walls of your house, is the ultimate growls of laughter!! Oops, we mean, Archana Puran Singh!
