Actor Anil Kapoor, who has recently joined Twitter, used the microblogging site to launch the first look of his debut TV production venture “24”, an Indian version of the popular American suspense thriller series of the same name.
The 56-year-old actor on Thursday shared a picture of the show on his official account. The promos of the show are expected to go on air in August.
New on Twitter, Anil Kappor is known to be taking lessons from his good friend, also doing a cameo role in the show, Anupam Kher and went on to post this tweet.
“First look of ’24’ India! The teaser looks great … can’t wait to show it to you guys,”
The show will be aired on Colors channel. It features Anil in the lead role of counter-terrorism unit agent Jack Bauer, which was originally essayed by actor Kiefer Sutherland in the American series.
Directed by Abhinay Deo, the show has been written by Rensil D’Silva. Shabana Azmi, Tisca Chopra and Mandira Bedi will also feature in the cast.
