Aamir’s detractors are leaving no stone unturned. They are trying super hard to hack the actor’s reputation to bits.
But in vain, all they are attracting is slings and arrows in return. A hate group has started a defamatory campaign against the star, hurling abuses at him on some of the most popular social networking sites. They have accused the actor of accepting donation on his show Satyamev Jayate 2.
Of course all this hogwash came into Aamir’s notice and I am glad that he didn’t take all this shit lying down. He has registered a complaint with the Mumbai police and clarified that all these rumours spread about him are nothing but malicious.
Even Javed Akhtar took to Twitter to express his infuriation over the matter. He wrote that it’s a matter of shame that people are slinging mud at the great grandnephew of Maulana Azad.
Even Harish Iyer, an activist for socio-cultural and environmental issues, who also made an appearance in the first season of SMJ wrote on Facebook, “I would like to clarify that all donations sought in SMJ are used and channelized for entirely deserving and secular causes, contrary to the content of the highly mischievous/malicious insinuations in the messages, being circulated by vested and unscrupulous interest.”
These people who have created a mini riot in the virtual world have accused the actor of using the donation money that his show receives for the construction of Masjid and helping the Muslim youth seek employment.
Some people will never learn to wield social networking tools for good causes. Some of them are just wired to spread hate and create hype for no rhyme or reason. If you are with Aamir, report abuse such messages or simply spam them – these things don’t deserve to see the light of the day!
