The beach has many shacks where you can lay down peacefully and enjoy different sea food delicacies.

Marina Beach in Chennai is one of the longest running beaches in the world and extends from Fort St. George in the South to Foreshore Estate in the North. Chennai gets very hot in the summer and this beach serves as an ideal getaway destination for the locales to get some respite from the heat. Tourists, too, throng in large numbers to the beach every day and turnit into one of the most happening and lively spots in the city.

One of the most famous beaches in Gujarat, Tithal beach attracts several locals and tourists everyday. Unlike Goa and most of the other Indian states, Gujarat has a prohibition policy which does not allow the sale or consumption of liquor. Also, a large chunk of the people in Gujarat prefersvegetarian food over non-vegetarian delicacies. But that does not mean Gujarat or its beach are any less fun to be at. There are some nice resorts around the beach where you can relax after roaming around the beach for a while.

Kerala, a state rewarded with the title of God’s own country, is home to a bunch of exotic beaches. In fact, the beaches are what drive tourists all across theglobe to Kerala. Marari Beach is arguably, one of the best beaches in the state. Reaching the beach is not difficult at all as it is well-connected by roads and has a railway station close to it. The beach has a tranquil vibe to it complimented by the presence of natural vegetation around it.
