Size matters:
If you’re a tall guy, a tiny bag will look hideous. So, go for a bag that’s proportionate to your height and weight. If it’s too huge, it can look like a duffel than a man purse. Ideally, the purse should be large enough to hold your everyday essentials, but tiny enough to be able to differentiate between the purse and your other bags. As sexist as it sounds, you don’t want to look like a girl…do you? So your purse should be of a shape that screams macho without. Also, while picking your purse, look for rough edges, brazen finishes and bold straps. Because the daintier the shape, the more feminine its look. Neutral colours:
However bold and experimental you may be, but a man purse in any other colour than black, brown, tan and mahagony is going to look stupid. The new age neon ones are a strict no-no. Deep chocolates, dusted tans, muted browns and rich mahagony are great options other than the standard black. But black will never go out of fashion!

The charm lies in how you carry the bag. Whether you let it hang loosely by your side or wear it across your chest, you have to make it look effortlessly easy and macho.
