Wear it with a flowy lower:
Crop tops fit you snugly and go best with flowy/loose lowers. Opt for flared skirts, pants, shorts and minis. But if you have a killer figure, you can wear skin-tight lowers too. There’s nothing wrong with that, but you should be able to carry it off. The thumbrule is always to contrast the tops and lowers. If you’re feeling particularly wild, pair your crop tops with bondage skirts, hot pants and even crop pants. Hawt!
Blazer it up:
Another way to make a sexy statement is to wear your crop top inside a cotton/warm blazer and you don’t have to worry about over exposure. If you’ve been skipping on your gym sessions, it’s best to throw a blazer over you so that your bared mid-riff isn’t too pudgy. You can even colorblock them by wearing hot pink/ruby red tops. You can wear neon greens and blazing purples too. These combinations will look uber chic as they are truly the toast of this season. Another way to up the fashion quotient is to wear your crop top inside overalls. It will look sexy and is perfect for the heat. If your overalls printed, go for a plain top inside. But if your overall is in a bold monotone, opt for a funky inner. Don’t forget to accessories with red lips, a blingy bag and a pair of chic shoes.
