While Bollywood beauties wear the colour rather well, you and I can totally mess it up. Here’s how you can rock this shade. Read on!

But it might not look that great when worn as a pair of pants. It can make you look like a runaway from the town circus, if you overdo the orange. While Bollywood beauties wear the colour rather well, you and I can totally mess it up.
Here’s how you can rock this shade. Read on!
Go classic on top:
Since your pants are super funky, it’s best to go classy on top. Pair your pants with a neutral ganji and black/midnight blue/tan/brown blazer for that sexy-meets-classy look. While black will look absolutely smashing on orange, brown will elevate your outfit to another level. Midnight blue and even mahogany will look sexy over your pants. Make sure the jacket has a nice cut, is well-fitted and the sleeves do not fall awkwardly on your wrists. If your pants are cropped, go for a blazer that ends right below your waist. And if your pants are skinny without being cropped, keep the blazer length just above the waist.
Funky colorblock:
Another way to rock tangerine pants is to colorblock them by wearing hot pink/ruby red tops. You can wear neon greens and blazing purples too. These combinations will look uber chic as they are truly the toast of this season. If too many colours aren’t your thing, introduce the pop via a handbag or shoes. Bright pink bag, white crispt tee and a pair of orange pants will look smacking for sure. If nothing else, go for bold lips and keep your top neutral when going orange below.
Go floral:
Opt for printed tees and tops, from eccentric prints to beautiful flowers, you can choose a wide range of designs. Florals will look dainty against the harsh orange and make for a great combo. If the flowers or designs have a tinge of orange in them, it would look even more smashing. But make sure the orange is not too much as that make your dress too ‘mathcy-matchy’ and more like a uniform than a fun put-together outfit. Keep the colour scheme in mind but don’t go overboard with it.
White tee and tops:
Nothing looks classier than a crisp white shirt on a pair of orange pants. It makes the glaring orange dulled down, and how! The white will make your pants more prominent as all the attention will be focused on them. If you’re feeling funky, go for a white ganji , vest or tied-up stole over your pants. Another trick is to wear a white kohl with a white top to really make the look pop. Try it out and let us know!
Subtle make-up:
It goes without saying that when your pants are bright and blinding, let them do all the talking. Keeo your make-up minimum, may be just a bit of gloss and kohl and no shadow. You can wear your hair loose, casually tied-up or bunched up. Don’t go for elaborate hairdos and updos as those will become the highlight and not your pants. If you’re wearing bright pants to a party in the evening, keep your face scrubbed clean and apply a thick streak of orange lipstick. No other make-up or accessory. You will dazzle the night away, for sure.
