Puffiness can be a sign of ageing, lack of sleep or too much of stress. Here are a few homely remedies that you can follow on a daily basis to get rid of those ugly under eye bags

1. In a bowl of chilled water, mix a few drops of pure vitamin E oil. Soak in a few cotton balls and then place over your eyes for 15 to 20 minutes. It will help in reducing the swelling around eyes. 

2. Keep slices of potato or cucumber over your eyes for half-an-hour everyday and you will see a noticeable change within a week. 

3. Dip green tea bags in cold water and refrigerate until they turn chilled. Place over your eyes for half-an-hour and lie down and relax while you enjoy the cooling goodness of green tea. 

4. Separate egg white and beat until it becomes stiff and leave a peak when you take out the spoon. Apply it around your eyes and relax for 20 minutes. Rinse with cold water. It will make the skin around the eyes tighter. 

5. To cool down the swelling or puffiness around the eyes, chill stainless steel spoons and keep them over your eyes until the puffiness disappears. Keep two extra spoons dipped a glass of chilled water with ice cubes handy so that you can change once the ones on your eyes turn a bit heated.
