1. Shoes:
While doing trousers, always pick a pair of shoes that are of the same shade or darker than your trousers. This will give you a classy ‘put-together’ look. And when you’re doing dresses, pick a contrasting pair for a conservative outing, while go for a pair from a different color family for a fun night-out. For example, if you’re going the LBD route, you have a whole palette of colours to choose from when it comes to shoes. You can pick up a wine red pair, midnight blue or even chunky silver! Another thing you should keep in mind in order to make your legs look longer is to wear pumps the same color as your skin.
2. Instant embellishments:
To add a bit of bling to your outfit or shoes, use clip-on earrings to decorate them. This is the quickest way to dazzle up your plain Jane look. If you’re going clubbing straight from work, snap on your clip-on earrings to your shirt collar or sleeves to add a bit of zing!
3. Wearing pencil skirt:
The basic mistake women make while wearing pencil skirts is with the length. Make sure that the skirt falls just above your knee. Anything longer will make you look stocky and your legs shorter. If you’re going for a fun event and don’t have time to change your skirt, use double-sided tape to clinch the hem up a bit, so that your skirt looks sexy!
