The 28-year-old discovered the trousers when she was a child and they immediately ignited her passion, reports femalefirst.co.uk.
Hammer pants, loose fitting trouser inspired by harem pants which originated in India and often mistakenly called “parachute pants”, are customized/modified baggy pants tapered at the ankle with a saggy crotch area made perfect for hip-hop dancing.
“In kindergarten I loved hammer pants! Fashion really starts in those younger years, and I started with hammer pants,” usmagazine.com quoted Simpson as saying.
Even her four-year-old son Bronx is developing an interest in fashion.
“He always lets us know exactly what he likes and doesn’t like – even with what I wear,” she said.
