Braided dragon:
The braids are not the prerogative of the fairer sex, you know! You can wear a cool braid to a fun party too. If you have long hair that‘s well groomed and maintained, it’s time to funk it up. Start braiding from the top of your head and keep twisting the braid till you reach the fag end. The braid should look like a dragon so keep spraying long-lasting hair gel. Before braiding your hair, apply a generous amount of wax on them to keep them smooth and sticky.
Side-swept:
Use a generous amount of hair spray and styling gel on washed hair. Now run a straightner through this bunch andpart it on the side of your choice. Make sure that the hair covers 3/4th of your forehead. Keep spraying long-lasting gel on them throughout the day, so that they don’t lose their sheen.
Piled on top:
Twist a bunch of your top mop into a spiral and blow dry them inside out to create volume. Spray on some styling spray and give your mop a rough tug. Hold the hair in place by spraying more hairspray on it. You can either pile up the hair on a particular side or scrunch them up in the middle of your head. Your call!
Voluminous beads:
For the Afro look, blow dry your hair inside out and soak them in styling gel and pomade. Now plait them tightly by sectioning off your hair in many segments. This style will look the best on those with naturally frizzy hair as fine hair will tend to get limped after awhile.
Criss-cross:
This one is an extreme style that requires razors! Run a styling razor through your hair in, cutting across the back of your head with the razors making a V. This will look like your hair has some depth. But if you don’t like this style, you would have to wait for a long time before you can have your normal style back!
The edgy Mohawk:
This is the edgier version of the classic Mohawk. Spike your hair with as much intensity as you can muster so you get spikes across your head. Spray some dry shampoo and natural colour dust to bring out the funk in you…
Try these styles only if you’re confident about carrying these off. As styles change every six months, you can opt for something more ‘you’ in the months to come!
