Life doesn’t work according to our wishes and desires, no matter how badly we want it to!
There are some extremely awesome and beautiful days in our life when life looks like heaven and sometimes days are so crazy and shi**y that you want the day to end! But those worse days are the longest ones too, as if never coming to an end no matter what!
It is during such days that you got to keep your calm. When nothing is going right for you, take a left! In other words, turn around, take a U-turn and do something that you were not doing otherwise!
Let me share with you some quick tips about how you can make your worst days turn into amazing days when nothing goes right:
1) Positive Attitude
Remember, no matter how screwed up your day is, it can turn around with one thought of positivity as simple as a smile! Yeah, try it out and you’ll find the difference. If no one is there to pep you up, do it yourself! Think of good things that can happen to you and soon you’ll be out of that negative zone!
2) A New Perspective
Always remember that things really go worse only a few times in life. Other times, it’s our perception about them that makes us feel down or negative about everything. Therefore, best thing is when you are sad or de-motivated, think that it’s just a phase and is only a small part of your big life! Look at life from new glasses!
3) Change
You live your life a certain way, but if things are not working out your way, find a new way! Bring change on your own, even if it’s a small change in just your daily routine! A fresh way of doing things will go a long way in helping you to come out of your dull mode!
4) Laugh
Learn to laugh at your adversities. Sometimes you try too hard to get something or to manage something yet everything disintegrates or doesn’t go according to your plan. Instead of crying over it, laugh about it! It happens to all of us and no one gets everything they hope and wish for! Don’t take life too seriously and move on!
5) Never Give Up
You might try and you might fail a hundred times, a million times, but giving up shouldn’t be a part of your vocabulary, ever! Maybe take a breather after your failure, take a deep breath, analyse your mistakes and try again!
6) Try Something Else
If you’re trying to do a particular job and unable to find success in it or trying to study a particular subject and losing interest constantly, try studying something else or look for a new job! You might realise that your forte lies elsewhere than what you’re trying to do!
7) Ask For Help
It’s never bad to seek help from friends, family or a near and dear one during times of feeling blue! You never know, an advice, a kind word, a causal suggestion just make your day or give you a pretty fresh new idea to tide over your crisis!
8) Stop Complaining
Yea, it gives us a kind of a temporary satisfaction by complaining about our miseries, but in the long term it harms more than it helps! Better stop complaining and start working on improving your situation!
9) Focus
Whenever you’re feeling down, focus on one thing at a time. Don’t try to do too many things and due to your bad mood spoil everything else. Instead do one thing and give your 100% to it!
Remember guys, bad phases are part of life, but they don’t define your life. You define your life by the way you react to life as it is happening to you! Make it matter!
