If Goddess Lakshmi Were Santa Claus… What Would You Wish For?

Dhanteras marks the beginning of Diwali. It is the day when Goddess Lakshmi (Goddess of wealth) is worshipped. Rangoli designs and alpanas are seen on the floorings along with foot prints to mark the arrival of Goddess Lakshmi.

It is considered to be a very auspicious day.

Imagine this Dhanteras Goddess Lakshmi actually coming in front of you and bestowing her blessings on you.

If you had the chance to make only one wish then what would it be…let’s think of different situations where you might encounter Goddess Lakshmi.

What would that one wish be in the following situations? Am writing my wish you can suggest yours. (Remember one wish per situation)

1)    If Goddess Lakshmi came in the form of a boss

If my boss turned Goddess Lakshmi for a day and I actually got the opportunity to make only one wish that would come true then I would ask for a lifetime pay leave.

2)    If Goddess Lakshmi came in the form of a rich relative

Relatives especially those gossip aunties can be a big pain but I love them on Dhanteras. Touch their feet and they readily bestow their love and affection in the form of cash or gifts. (Some are quite a miser when it comes to gifting).  Anyways if Goddess Lakshmi actually came to me in the form of a rich relative I would ask her for a big fat cheque.

3)    If Goddess Lakshmi came in the form of a CA

This would be like a dream come true. I always had this dream of opening my own boutique. So if Goddess Lakshmi came to me in the form of a CA I would ask her to finance my very own boutique.

4)    If Goddess Lakshmi came in the form of a doctor

I would get a plastic surgery done for free.

5)    If Goddess Lakshmi came in the form of a travel agent

       I would ask for a free trip to Bermuda Triangle and get lost there.

6)    Finally if Goddess Lakshmi came in the form of your daughter

I would ask her to remove the issue of female foeticide completely from the society and save the girls in this world.

Well these were just some random situations that I was thinking loud wherein I imagined Goddess Lakshmi to come in front of me. One chance of asking something and the opportunity would never come back. You can also suggest if you have any weird or ultimate wish that would fit these situations.
