The elegant wedding card was designed by Delhi-based designer Ravish Kapoor. The invite card was placed in a pearl white box with turquoise and golden color scheme on it. Apart from the card, the wedding box contained a potli of tea infusion in it. These tea infusions were created by Tea sommelier Anamika Singh who is an owner of a store in the Shahpur Jat area of New Delhi. Other than tea, there were four jars of honey as well.
2 – Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra
This wedding was surely one among the luxurious and star-studded affair. With a theme of red and golden wedding card, the box was customized with hand-made exotic chocolates. The card was personalized with encrusted – RS on it.
3 – Vivek Oberoi and Priyanka Alva
For those who aren’t acquainted about this, let me tell you this is one among the most expensive wedding in Bollywood. The wedding card had two sections like a jewelry box. One section of the card had the invites while the lower bottom had chocolates in it. The card was made using crushed diamonds and real gold!
4 – Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan
Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan’s wedding was the much hyped one. The invite card was sent in three golden themed boxes which were held together with the help of red ribbon. The first box contained the invite while 24 pieces of mithai made by Switzerland chocolate were place in seconds. A small silver idol of Ganesha was placed in the third box.
5 – Dia Mirza and Sahil Sangha
Dia Mirza and Sahil Sangha’s wedding was like a fairytale! The Hyderabadi actress decided to keep it simple when it comes to marriage and the invite cards. The wedding box included a wedding card with off white color theme along with floral design on the side and a box of sweets.
Esha Deol-Bharat Takhtani’s marriage was a huge one. The actress picked up a cream and golden color box which contained the wedding card. The wedding card was embossed in golden and looked extremely elegant. A box of dry fruits, sweets, and pictures of Radha Krishna came along the wedding card.
7 – Bipasha Basu and Karan Grover
The two love birds were eager to announce their wedding date and hence they took photography to an extra ordinary level. The couple got a photoshoot done which looked like a traditional Catholic wedding. They then embedded their photo on the wedding card and also shooted a video to invite their near and dear ones.
8 – Pulkit Samrat and Shweta Rohira
Pulkit Samrat married Shweta, his longtime girlfriend in a destination wedding in Goa on November 3, 2014. just like the wedding, the card of the marriage looked like a dreamy fairy tale. Their wedding card contained fairytale theme and was named as ‘A Knotty Affair’. The card had fun themes for each of the functions in the wedding with which had their caricatures.
