Snowstorm, which is an electrically powered flying machine, can easily be controlled by a single person and hovered just the way you drive a car. Not only is it a lot of fun to fly, but its landing and take-off is also vertical, making it easier for people to fly it on their own. Thanks to Snowstorm, the definition of ‘flying’ has now been redefined!

The masterminds behind Snowstorm are eight engineering students from the very well-known National University of Singapore.

After spending two whole semesters and working on a project that aimed at making people fly, Snowstorm’s first prototype happened. This prototype became a huge hit all around the world and now students are trying to bring Snowstorm into the commercial sector.

So, are you all set to take off?

Well before you do, here’s a heads up from our end.

First of all, as only the prototype is available right now, you’d be able to fly it for only five minutes. Secondly, keep in mind that as per the rules of some countries, you can only fly such personal aerial vehicles indoors. Thirdly, if you’re planning to fly this amazing gadget, it’d be better if you start hitting the gym or go on a diet as you have to weigh less than 70 kgs to use it. And finally, bear in mind that only the prototype has been developed right now and, in all likelihood, the final product will come equipped with stronger motors and more powerful batteries!
