Devi, who is from Haryana, happens to be a police officer and is trained under the professional eyes of the WWE wrestler The Great Khali at his Wrestling promotion and Training Institute in Punjab.
The Vice-President of the WWE talent development Mr. Canyon Ceman, after witnessing Kavita Devi’s performance in the Dubai tryout had stated in respect, “She is an athletic and extremely strong woman who demonstrated a solid grasp of the fundamentals of sports entertainment,”.
Kavita Devi had a special passion for wrestling right from her childhood and she grew up watching the WWE tournaments and closely following famous wrestlers like the Undertaker and female wrestlers like Chyna.
Voicing her aspirations and dreams, Kavita Devi in a recent interview talked about her idol The Great Khali, “He was the first Indian man to win a world title, and I wanted to be the first woman,” she stated.
