Yes, it’s the last Saturday of the month and suddenly there is storm on Facebook and Instagram with people updating their status, pictures and their four squares.
So this Monday morning there will be no more Monday morning blues; rather it will be an exciting holiday time for all the people.
So yes the title of our post surely does justice by saying that it will be a clear independence with a holiday rather than fighting the blues.
For these extended weekends Goa becomes the hot shot destination because you will find half of the country’s population to be attracted towards it and suddenly you will find Baga beach being overcrowded. Well that is another part of the story.
But people for whom Saturday is a working day, Monday can just be same like a Sunday, an add on to another Sunday when you can simply laze around the entire day, just end up doing nothing and eating as much as you want. There is a normal tendency of people for whom grass is always greener on the other side. For instance, when I used to laze around at home in the lovely sunshine during the winters I always wanted to work but now when I work I miss those days badly of being all carefree and chilled out.
So this Republic Day you can surely have the privilege of having two holidays back to back where you are busy doing nothing. Having an amazing relationship with your bed (*winks*) and just go cosy with yourself is the best way to enjoy the day.
Last time with the Republic Day being on Sunday, office going people were found cursing since one of the very important holidays was wasted. But this year everyone takes a sigh of relief for it being on Monday.
So this coming Monday morning you are completely blessed with a sound sleep; no more Monday morning blues, playing around the targets or listening to the cribbing boss.
Out of all these there is a set of people that is sitting at home because they could not plan anything out of this long weekend, stalking their friends on social networking site who are travelling all over India and gloating about their weekend planning skills.
