Alert! These 7 Foods Can Lead To Memory Loss

Brain needs different kind of food but we fuel them with junk foods which are harmful for body as well as for brain.

Brain requires healthy fats, vitamins and minerals.

It’s not that you have to completely exclude them from your diet but definitely you should reduce the intake of these foods. But do not add them in your daily diet.

Below are the  foods can lead to memory loss :

1.  White Foods

As per studies, white bread, white flour, white rice, pasta, sugar may and other white foods cause memory loss. They have high sugar level which is not required for brain and they produce lot of toxins.

2. Processed Foods

Processed foods nowadays have become common staples among youngsters. These foods do hamper memory as they are laced with trans fats. Natural trans fats are good but these processed foods have artificial, so one should not always depend on these processed foods for quick bites.

3.    Microwave popcorn

It contains diacetyle which is a chemical builds up some kind of plaques in our brains which can lead to Alzheimer’s disease.

4.     Beer

Beer again contains the same chemical that popcorn has. According to a survey, men who consumed alcohol over a period of 20 years grieved from memory damage.


5.    Processed Cheese

Cheese is great source of many good nutrients like protein and calcium but processed cheese are high on saturated fats which can lead to Alzheimer’s. So do not forget to go for natural ones.

6.     Artificial Sweetners

One should not add artificial sweetner on a daily basis as it can have adverse effects on your brain.

7.    Soy Products

According to the British Alzheimer’s Research Trust’s studies, one should not consume too many soy food items like tofu as it increases the risk of memory loss. The phytoestrogens in soy can increase the chances of dementi so better try and reduce its intake.

Many foods may cause memory loss but there are many foods that can improve your memory. For example, Leafy green vegetables, cold-water fish, Berries and dark-skinned fruits, Coffee and chocolate, Extra virgin olive oil are good memory boosters. Have these vital dietary changes and get razor sharp memory.
