The Telangana Bill has become a fish bone for the Congress party. The bill has already been rejected by the Andhra Pradesh assembly and the party is humiliated to its core.
After continuously disrupting Parliament over the T-bill and stalling every possible business in the house, the Congress MPs stooped further low to embarrass their own government. Congress MPs, who were shouting in the well of the lower house, used pepper spray to attack the speaker and other MPs. Reportedly, gas and knives were also present with the MPs.
After fisticuffs and breaking mike of the speaker, few MPs, including the culprit L Rajagopal, were admitted to the hospital. At least 17 were later expelled from the house.

Apart from the social implications, the bifurcation of the state has serious economical implications. But the Congress party is in dire need of political gains and it won’t let Telangana Bill be a downer. This was clear from the moment important bills were bypassed to put T-Bill on the table.
