Just a day after delivering on his promise of free water to Delhites, chief minister Arvind Kejriwal moved ahead to make arrangements for fulfilling another of his poll promise. Though the chief minister is still running fever and suffering from diarrhoea and his doctor has advised him two days, he still met his party members and mulled on the prospects of cutting power tarriff.
“Attempts are being made so our government falls. We do not know if our government will survive or not. We feel we have only 48 hours to serve the people,” said Kejriwal, who gave a miss to the office on Monday and Tuesday.
“Fever can get cured, will take rest later. We need to do as much as we can do,” Kejriwal said.
The Delhi cabinet is meeting late on Tuesday to decide on an audit of power companies. Kejriwal heads the power ministry in the new government.
