The Congress vice-president on Thursday had questioned Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘˜audacity’ to go drumming in Japan, that too so fantastically.
It is interesting to see how main stream media keeps aside some pertinent issues and allows debates which do not have any substance at its core.
One such debate was aired last night on India’s ‘said’ number one news channel at prime time.
It was the #DholDebate.
Keeping aside the obvious death of the creativity in the matter, one must notice that the debate was ‘sparked’ by media’s blue moon and darling Rahul Gandhi.
The Congress vice-president on Thursday had questioned Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘audacity’ to go drumming in Japan, that too so fantastically.
“The Prime Minister is playing drums in Japan while there is no electricity here and prices are rising. They [BJP] had made big promises but where is the result? They might have forgotten, so let me remind them. They said they will change the country, bring down prices, reduce corruption. 100 days are over. At least begin work now. People say they have not even started working,” he told journalists after arriving in his constituency Amethi on a two-day visit.
While one Congressi (read Rita Bahuguna Joshi) can revel in the fact that Rahul Baba has once again come out of his cocoon and is slamming the government left, right and centre; one cannot escape the other fact that the blue moon has come out after Digvijay Singh wanted him to be watched and heard more.
Rahul has mostly been sleeping when the debate on price rise was taking place in the parliament. Or he was hiding behind his supporters when the parliament was discussing communal violence demanded by none other than the great dhol baba. He has been an MP from Amethi for past decade, but he holds BJP government responsible for its backwardness. And now he want hisab-kitab of every work done by Modi in his 100 day tenure.
On the other hand, Rahul is right. The Prime Minister is a show off. Till now, he had been diminishing Congress and its expanded rule in the government for providing better governance to the country. He has scrapped Planning Commission which planned so many scams for the UPA government. And now he is playing drums like professionals! How dare he?
The main stream media, which badly wants the Narendra Modi government to fail just for the sake of rhetoric, is thus fixated with Rahul Gandhi and his dumbness.
Meanwhile, twitter is as usual drumming Rahul and his #DholDebate:
#dholdebate: Rahul has been sleeping in parliament frm 3650 days while his own govt was in powr bt now he need results within 100 days
