Dear Mr Kejriwal, Please Correct Ashutosh’s Language First

Kejriwal retweet a follower’s tweet containing a specific line of the LG’s letter to the President. He told journalists that LG shouldn’t say he would be ‘˜’grateful” if BJP is invited to form the government.

The Supreme Court has delivered its verdict on Delhi.

The apex court has given the central government time till October 10 to apprise it on the matter.

It should be noted that Delhi Lt Governor Najeeb Jung has initiated the process of government formation in the capital by writing a letter to President Pranab Mukherjee on exploring the possibilities of the same. In his letter, dated September 4, the LG had sought permission to call the single largest party – Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) – to claim its stake for the government formation in the capital even when it is wee short of majority in the assembly.

Reportedly, a five-judge Constitution Bench, headed by Justice HL Dattu, said that it is not going to keep this matter pending for a longer period of time and asked the Centre to inform it about the decision to be taken by the President of India on the LG’s letter.

“What is the possible time by which his Excellency would take a decision?” the bench asked Additional Solicitor General (ASG) P S Narsimha, who was appearing for the Centre.

The SC on August 5 had asked the centre to take a decision on dissolution of Delhi assembly.

The issue of alleged horse-trading was raised by advocate Prashant Bhushan appearing for Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) as it has recently done a sting-operation to ‘expose’ the party enjoying landslide majority in the Lok Sabha as well. The bench, however, said that it will not take on record the additional affidavit filed on this issue by AAP and asked the advocates to wait till 10 October.

But the news does not end here. In fact, it becomes more interesting. Apparently, Aam Aadmi Party supremo Arvind Kejriwal has become a Grammar Nazi.

After ‘bashing’ LG on ‘‘batting’’ for BJP on micro-blogging site twitter, Kejriwal retweet a follower’s tweet containing a specific line of the LG’s letter to the President.

He told journalists that LG shouldn’t say he would be ‘’grateful’’ if BJP is invited to form the government.

Well, first of all, Kejriwal should correct the spellings of his follower’s tweet. It’s ‘grateful’ and not ‘greatful’.

Second, if this tweet was posted to show as to how the LG is batting for BJP, then going by the same logic, the honourable President, and the honourable Supreme Court are also batting for the BJP.

Third, he shouldn’t crow much on this AAP sting. It was an AAP MLA, in this case Dinesh Mohania, who went to BJP MLA Sher Singh Dagar’s house. It should actually have been opposite in case BJP was actually trying to poach AAP MLAs.

Fourth, by his own admission, eight MLAs are supporting the BJP which makes a good case for enhanced frustration. Also, Kejriwal admits that he is in touch with BJP and Congress MLAs although he adds adjective “good” before them. This provides a hazy ground for his own admission.

And finally, where were you Mr Kejriwal when your dear friend Ashutosh was scarring the lives of hundreds of people on social media?
