Fans and wishes from all over flooded the news feeds on social media and the wishes still continue to pour as the sensational singer Shreya Ghoshal turned 31 yesterday.
She is one such celebrity who has somehow managed to stay far away from any kind of controversy and hence it comes as no surprise as to the amount of well wishes and positive vibes this singer gets.
Sharing her latest solo unplugged video on the Yelove Malayalam music album:
This is a romantic song and here is the original video that was published last year as an independent music project. Music is by Ajith Mathew and the duet was sung by Shreya Ghoshal and Siddharth Menon.
In a country where we regularly encounter strong differences based on cast, creed, religion, language, etc. singers like Shreya Ghoshal blur all boundaries.
She is a Bengali but clearly language is no bar as her soothing melodious voice bridges the linguistic gaps. Other than Hindi and Bengali, Shreya Ghoshal beautifully spread her magical voice in other languages like Kannada, Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Assamese, Gujarati, Marathi, Oriya and Punjabi.
Here is another recent song she tweeted #appappa from the Tamil movie Komban.
My new Tamil song from #Komban gorgeous melody by @gvprakash #appappa http://t.co/iRji5KpD5C pls listen:)

The song is sung by Shreya and G. V. Prakash Kumar for the upcoming Tamil film – Komban. The film is directed by M. Muthaiah.
The song means that she had a flu that vanished as she fell in love and the only solution to the problem is a romantic kiss.
Versatility at its best as Shreya Ghoshal spreads her magical charm in various languages and we hope she continues to do the same.
As this was her first birthday after marriage this must have been a very special one indeed.
She had updated on Instagram a picture of gurer paayesh (a Bengali dish) that her mother made on her birthday:
