Asus has launched the Chromebox in India. Running on Chrome OS & powered by a Haswell Processor, it is extremely handy and measures only 12 cm x 12 cm.
Asus has launched the Chromebox, a mini desktop for domestic, as well as commercial use.
With a powerful processor the Chromebox supports Chrome OS and it definitely looks promising.
At the launch, Vinay Shetty, the Country Head – Component Business, ASUS (India) said, “We’re excited to launch the Chromebox in India. There’s been an increase in demand for small form factor mini PCs / HTPCs and the Chromebox would be a great alternative for such application.”
Asus would initially sell the Chromebox through its 40 exclusive stores. Enthusiasts may buy the gadget online too.
Based on the response, the ace PC manufacturer would make the product available to its other stores. Presently, Asus has 112 stores in the country.

The company has launched 3 models of the Chromebox, namely:
1). Chromebox CN60 with Intel Celeron Processor,
2). Chromebox CN60 with Intel Core i3 Processor
3). Chromebox CN60 with Intel Core i7 Processor

The price of the 3 models is Rs 21,000, Rs 36,500, and Rs 58,000 respectively.
