Razor bumps also known as Razor burn are very irritating and they easily spoil a good-looking shaven face. The hairs that usually grows beneath the skin, later appears into red and painful bumps. Well, the reasons behind such razor bumps are not using proper shaving tools and excessive use of cheap cream products etc. So, if you’re currently experiencing the razor bumps, then the first thing to do is, stop using cheap products and replace ‘em with high-quality ones.

  1. Cold/Hot Compress

Use the method of hot and cold compress to prevent the razor bumps immediately.

Method: – Once you’ve shaved your face and you feel like your skin is burning, then use a towel, soak it into cold water and keep it onto your affected area. Doing so will prevent all the coming razor bumps immediately.

If you’re trapped with ingrown hairs, then just boil the water, soak the towel and keep it onto your affected area. Doing so will open up all clog skin pores and ingrown hairs will be free.

  1. Tea Tree Oil

Tea tree oil includes antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties that cure all the skin-related problems.

Method: – Fill a small half glass of water and add 3 drops of tea tree oil into it. Mix it altogether and now, dip a cotton ball and keep applying the remedy onto your skin. Continue doing it twice a day for better result.

  1. Lemon Juice

Lemon contains acidic properties in it and it controls all the itchiness and redness.

Method: – Take 1 lemon and remove all its juice completely in a small bowl. Now dip a cotton ball into lemon juice and apply it onto the skin where you see redness. Repeat this process twice daily. {Early morning and before sleeping}

  1. Witch Hazel

Witch Hazel is mainly a natural antiseptic that reduces skin troubles i.e. itchiness and redness.

Method: – Take some amount of witch hazel onto a cotton ball and rub it onto the affected area to reduce redness.

  1. Baby Powder

Not just diaper rashes, baby powder can reduce bumps too.

Method: – Before shaving i.e. 10 minutes before, apply some baby powder onto your face and then start your shaving process. This controls the ingrown hair from causing any sort of problems and frees the hairs too.

  1. Aloe Vera

Aloe Vera moisturises the skin and reduces the skin troubles.

Method: – Remove the Aloe Vera gel from the plant and apply it onto your affected area. Now rub the face or affected skin completely and let it dry. Once it dries up, wash your face with cold water.

Repeat this process at-least twice a day.
