We have seen actors of those times donning this character. Uttam Kumar’s image is still fresh in my mind. But somehow it is easier to imagine the actors of those times wearing a dhoti. ‘Dhoti’ was an integral part of the wardrobe back then.

The new age actor Sushant Singh Rajput wears the attire in a way that he looks handsome and classy. There is a perfect blending of the jacket and the dhoti that gives the sense of indo-western fusion wear.

He wears the dhoti, pairs it up with a kurta, and a jacket or two jackets of different sizes.
