The colour:
This delicious colour, which is a cross between red and coral, looks absolutely yummy on her peaches and cream skin. It’s a rare sight to see her do a colour this rich and bright as she is mostly seen in conservative shades when promoting her films and assignments. On somebody else, this colour could have been a bit overwhelming, but not on this leggy lass. We want her to do more such funky hues in the future. Hear that, Ms Kaif?
The accessories:
Extra points to the beauty for going minimal in the accessory department. We love the gold accents on her gown that are adding the right amount of bling to the outfit and elevating it to a new level. Her gold tinted earrings are the perfect add-ons to her outfit. Furthermore, her bare hands and neck are the perfect to accentuate the gown and let the deep shade do all the talking. We don’t know what sort of shoes she was wearing, but we are sure it would be something in gold and something very classy.
Make-up and hair:
Red glossy lips make her look really pop. We love that her natural complexion has been played up instead on dolling her up. The kohl and blusher combo works rather well on her milky complexion, while the red adds the right amount of glamour to the whole look. Even though her hairstyle is quite ‘meh’, but the sleek hairdo looks fitting with this outfit. Anything else would have clashed with the dramatic gown and taken away from the beauty of the outfit.
Safe and sophisticated:
The actress is known to play it safe when it comes to her sartorial choices and this time was no different. The outfit was an extension of her comfort zone, yet she managed to sizzle in it. It’s very rare for heroines to make a statement when they have only the outfit backing them up, minus accessories and other factors playing a significant role in it.
