Hong Kong-based Indian Yoga instructor Yogaraj C.P. created a Guinness World Record by continuously performing Yoga for 40hrs.
The 29-year-old demonstrated more than 1,500 asanas non-stop for 40hrs.
Here is what our Prime Minister tweeted about the young Yoga sensation.

He even appreciated the Indian Consulate in Hong Kong for their support to Yogaraj.

Maintaining a low key all these years he sets the benchmark and creates a record making every Indian proud of him.
After receiving the certificate from the Guinness Book of World Records (GWR) adjudicator Mr. Dong Cheng, he dedicated the record to our PM. He considered PM’s effort to get global recognition for Yoga as very pivotal. Last year U.N had decided to declare June 21 as International Yoga Day.
Yogaraj commenced the non-stop 40hrs Yoga Sadhana with the tree pose called ‘Vrikshasana’.
The MEA spokesperson Syed Akbaruddin also tweeted about the Yoga teacher.

In 2003, he made a record for performing a headstand for 2hrs and 40mins.
His second record was back in 2011 when he held 23 postures while balancing on the seat of a moving motorbike.
He is from Chennai and his wife is from Japan.
His behind the scenes video of his Yoga calendar will simply blow your mind.
Every record that he displayed had stunned everyone. Eagerly waiting to see what’s in store next.
