Spinach (Hara Paalak)
Not everybody’s favourite food, but one that is well known for its amazing health benefits. Rich in minerals and vitamins, as well as those all-important omega-3 fatty acids, try spinach as an alternative to lettuce in a salad. If it was good enough for Popeye, it’s good enough for us, right? Spinach recipes are easily available online and some of them are exceptionally mouth-watering. Spinach-corn sandwich is one of my personal favourites! And then, who doesn’t know palak-paneer in India?
