Sunday is a lot more than just lazing around the house. Here’s how you can really make it fun and re-energise yourself to tackle Monday morning blues…
- If you are alone at home with your roomie or boyfriend/girlfriend and you are feeling too lazy to step out even for a cup of coffee, here’s what you could do: Play some drinking games. There are plenty of such games which are meant for only two people and you wouldn’t find a better reason to not drink.
- Download a few episodes of Disney Hour. Now don’t tell me you can’t recall Duck Tales and TaleSpin! Uncle Scrooge? Baloo? Launchpad? Rings a bell?
- Book yourself on a history or an art tour of your city and spend some hours amidst those breath-taking marvels, and feel like you have done something worthwhile on a Sunday. Take a friend along and don’t forget to carry your camera.
- If as a kid you loved drawing and colouring, you have a reason to relive your childhood. Grab some drawing sheets, colours and sketch pencils and get on with it all over again.
- Take out your phone book and dial up the numbers of all those special people with whom you had shared a desk at some point of your school life. Nothing makes you happier than discussing old school tales.
- Cook up that recipe which has been there on your to-do list for a while and enjoy a delicious, self-made meal rather than ordering from outside. Call a friend or a colleague to share the fun with you.
- Do something drastically different from your daily routine – like go carting, adventure rides in an amusement park, golfing, swimming, horse riding, trekking, cycling and the list goes on.
- Watch all your favourite movies or television shows back to back. Call over a few friends, make lots of popcorns and have fun.
