On the night of November 26, 2008, Mumbai became the target of a violent militant attack. Around ten young men entered the city through the sea route, armed with weapons and ammunition, and outspread to various prime locations to begin their attacks. Lobbing grenades and firing weapons, they entered hotels, a railway station and some other buildings, creating a hostage state and killing scores and wounding even more. India has been traumatized constantly by militant strikes blamed on terrorists in latest years, but this was more complicated and bolder. We remember the sore memories of the militant strike on Mumbai on its fifth anniversary.
