10 Experiences Only A Night Person Can Connect With

Being a nocturnal creature is one of the characteristics you can be proud of and you need not even go out and fight crime like Batman does.

You do not become a night person instantly. There are small signs that you need to look for throughout life in order to categorise yourself under this group.

Obviously, one of the signs is being unable to wake up before 10 a.m. (or noon perhaps).

Besides this one, there are several other indicators that might tell that you are not a morning person –

Time restrictions are bothersome to you. Remember when mum said, “It is one o’clock; turn off the TV”? Especially, during vacations, going to bed was an activity that was practically nonexistent to you. This carried on even after your school started and you would struggle to get sleep at night.

Watching TV late night is a practice since childhood

You are never ready for mornings. The morning alarm startles you, eventually giving you a brain freeze kind of headache. This outcome forces you to hit the snooze button every time your alarm clock goes off.

You manage to catch fresh episodes of shows that air during the night with their reruns telecasted the next morning.

There are occasions when you get work done the most efficiently at night.

You can handle official tasks better while working at night

On the other hand, if you have to work in the daytime, you are clueless most of the time.

You also know that the chances of you getting caught doing the ‘naughty’ stuff are minimum with every member in the family sound asleep.

Watching dirty TV at night becomes easy

You contact friends around dinner time hoping to make plans about a night out or visiting the local pub to just hangout. On most occasions, it is a no; so, you end up going alone.

You call your friends late at night for casual hangout

You often skip dinner because you know that you will be awake late in the night and your appetite will be at an all-time high in the day leading to binge eating; the perfect combination while watching TV in the night.

When an interesting thought crosses your mind in the night, you update it instantly on social media. More often than not, your update times are seen around four or five in the morning by friends.

You have nothing better to do in the mornings, for you are half awake (or half asleep, based on how much sleep you got).

Thanks to busy nightlife, your mornings are usually boring

Being a creature of the night is not bad at all. There are numerous benefits to the same

 – You work efficiently as you have no one around constantly bickering or throwing orders at you.

 – Based on the efforts you take, your IQ might be the best among the people you spend time with.

 – Night owls, as they are often called, score high on intelligence tests.
