The promo looks interesting. It revolves around a guy who’s come abroad in search of a better paying job. He’s a doctor with dreams in his eyes, but things are not as hunky dory as he’d imagined them to be once he sets foot on the land of milk and honey. He ends up becoming a cabbie and taking to the wheels instead of wielding the stethoscope.
But by a stroke of incredible coincidence he gets to show his medical skills when a female passenger’s water breaks in the cab. And thereon starts a funny journey of a guy who starts a funky mobile clinic of sorts and treats people in his cab.
Kunal comes across as one of those goofy Indian guys in the film. He entertained us throughout all the seasons of Big Bang…hoping he will do the same in the movie as well. Isabele’s character is not revealed in the promo yet. But for starters she’s got a cool pretty opportunity to begin her film journey with an off-beat film rather than some clichéd flick.
Salman also gives a mini introduction in the beginning of the promo, asking people to watch out his first international venture. Well, looks like Isabele’s got a godfather in the industry already. I doubt she needs to worry about much from hereon.
Dr Cabbie looks like fun. I am excited to see Kunal in a different role, which so diametrically opposite to his geeky character in Big Bang. More power to Dr Cabbie…You tell us if this one’s going to be on your must watch list.
