With his latest conquest on relationship territory, he is now basking in the glory of his engagement to human rights lawyer Amal Alamuddin. Their link up is now old and with Amal sporting a rock on her ring finger, the fresh buzz is that the couple has exchanged engagement vows.
In what comes across as a surprising revelation, grapevines have lifted lids off how Clooney pursued Amal.
The two met via a common friend at an event. However, despite the actor being instantly smitten with Amal, the latter barely paid heed to him.
What followed was a string of email from gorgeous George that can only be branded as pursuals on a deep core. Amal did not pay attention even then and only when the texts read that the most attractive man must be one with the most attractive lawyer, Amal started to take a second look.
