2. Hocus Pocus

This witchy movie is  another amazing family friendly movie one can watch.  The movie is about how these three witches, played by Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy, are brought back to life by some kids on Halloween night.

 

3. Halloween by John Carpenter

This brutal murder drama will surely give you chills on the Halloween. If you and buddies are okay with scary movies then you should not skip this movie. 

4. Corpse Bride

Grown ups can catch up with horror flicks but if you are spending night with kids who would not like to be spooked then you can go for this movie. This kid friendly movie is great delight to watch and a wonderful alternative.

5. Ghostbusters (1984)

7. Beetle Juice

Geena Davis and Alec Baldwin  play the role of ghost couple who try and frighten the new owners of the home. Michael Keaton character is now immortalized.

8. Friday The 13^th (1980)

This is a great slasher horror movie and a right flick to watch on the Halloween with your friends. The movie revolves around a mysterious killer of teenagers. The villain’s character Jason was  sketched wonderfully and it soon became quite a rage.
