Certain foods have been rumoured to have aphrodisiac properties i.e. they may reduce stress, increase blood flow or positively affect neurotransmitters and inturn help in improving one’s libido. Aphrodisiac foods are renowned for sparking romance. So if you are ready to go an ‘extra mile’ whilst in the bedroom, try these aphrodisiac foods to let the feeling take over.
Almonds
Almonds are rich in vitamin E, magnesium, and fiber. But it’s said that it’s just the aroma that makes this dish a sensual feast – the smell of almonds is said to arouse craving and infatuation in women.
Avocado
Just looking at the shape of avocado, one can see the reason why it was associated with sexuality. Avocadoes are rich in folic acid, vitamin B6 and potassium and it is said that they meant to boost the immune system.
