These Are Cars, Not Toys!

Usually, we use the word ‘small cars’ for hatchbacks, such as the Maruti Alto, Hyundai i10, Chevrolet Beat, and more.

But, there is a gamut of other cars too, which are smaller and unique.

There are a few of them which are economical to use, some are vintage cars, while others are good to see, but too small to use on the roads.

We take a look at these small enticing cars which resemble toys, but in reality are machines for use on the roads!

1).  Peel P50:

This car holds the Guinness World Record of the ‘Smallest Car in the World’. With a length of 54 inches and a width of 41 inches, the original model had a 50 cc engine placed inside the driver’s cabin. However, the models that followed came with an electric engine. The one drawback of this car is that it does not have a reverse gear. However, there is a simple solution to this problem. The driver can get out of the car and pull back this small lightweight coupé!

2).  BMW Isetta:

Launched in the year 1957, this car built by BMW in collaboration with Iso Spa, a Milan-based refrigeration company, is one of the bestsellers till date. With a sale of more than 160,000 units, this popular microcar, also revered as the ‘bubble car’ has only one gate for entry, and that too, through the front windscreen!

 

3).  Mini Mini:

The mini version of the Mini car is a cute-looking coupé just apt to fit two passengers.

 

4).  Myers Sparrow:

Myers Sparrow looks like an exact reproduction from an animation flick! This lithium-ion power-driven electric car comes in 2 models – a one-door auto and a two-door hatchback.

 

5).  Pasquali Riscio:

This Italian electric car is one of the safest and smallest vehicles available. Running at a speed of 25 mph the driver does not even need a license to use it!

 

6).  Tango by Commuter Cars:

Tango is more of a motorbike in the shape of a car. Eight-and-half feet in length, this car was specially designed for those who wish to travel short distances alone. This car is extremely fuel-efficient and is easy to park too!

 

7).  Mivalino Small Car:

Built in the year 1954, this mini car flaunts a 171.7cc engine, steel body, with a dimension of 2820 mm by 1220 mm. The Italian Mi-Val motorcycle company had produced 100 pieces of this car out of which only 8 are seen in the world today.

All these cars are extremely endearing and most of them are fuel-efficient vehicles too. Hence, if you wish to flaunt a unique vehicle, then do opt for these toy-like cars!
