Spain:
Strengths – The midfield quality of Spain is far more superior than any other side in this World Cup. With the likes of Xavi, Andres Iniesta, David Silva, Santi Cazorla, Cesc Fabregas and Koke at the helm; Spain can overcome any hurdle with ease. Also the forward line includes the likes of Diego Costa, Fernando Torres and David Silva which could pose a threat to any opposition defence.
Weakness – The defence looks fragile. The Spanish center backs are futile as far as set-pieces are concerned. If Diego Costa is injured, Torres and Villa don’t lack the pace and quality to unlock opposition defences.
Netherlands:
Strengths – The Dutch have brought a mixture of youth and experience in this year’s FIFA World Cup. With Robin van Persie leading the attack, the pace of Arjen Robben and artistry of Wesley Sneijder could be decisive going into this game.
Weakness – Youngsters like Stefan de Vrij and Bruno Martins Indi have not played a World Cup before and might lack quality on that part.
