This clash could decide the Group A leader as rivals Brazil and Mexico go head to head in this pivotal encounter. Despite their breezy outing against Croatia, hosts Brazil looked a bit nervy in but it took some magical moments from their poster boy, Neymar to pacify the home crowd. However, they will need to get their mojo back as they entertain Mexico who is high on confidence after beating Cameroon in their first group game. With their confidence high, El Tri may well fancy their chances but Neymar could be the difference between the sides. With that said, here are our two players that we think, could lead their side out of trouble on Tuesday.
Brazil:
Neymar – A brace in the bag, Neymar is currently flying high on morale and we could see the trend continuing when the hosts take on Brazil. The Barcelona forward has a knack of scoring important goals and if one goes pasts the Mexican goal-keeper, expect the home fans to turn on the volume sky high!
Mexico:
Oribe Peralta – Not regarded in the same breath as Neymar but Oribe Peralta’s crucial winner against Cameroon, was the talking point as the El Tri claimed a crucial win over the African side. Peralta has been his side’s highest scorer in the qualifying stages and could spring a surprise in the game against Brazil.
With the home crowd in such a vociferous support, Brazil can knock out any tough opposition. But Mexico would not be a walk in the park.
