Now for those who are experimental dare-devils, here we are with two absolutely incredible and drool-worthy preparations of omelets! Must try they are!
All Time Snack – A Cuppa Omelet With Love (A microwave variety)
What you need (for one serving): 2 large eggs beaten, 2-3 tablespoons cheddar cheese shredded, 1 tablespoon chopped onions, one tablespoon finely chopped green bell pepper, one tablespoon finely chopped cashew nuts, one tablespoon raisins, salt and pepper to taste.
Come let’s cook now:Â Take a large ceramic microwave proof mug (make sure the mug is sizeable enough to accommodate all the ingredients in almost half of it. Half space should be left for the fluff of the omelet). Put all the ingredients in the mug and mix well. Place the mug into the microwave and cook on 350 for about a minute and a half. The omelet can be seen rising just above the mug rim. Take it out, stick a fork inside and serve in the mug only. No need to put it on the plate!
Well this can be your healthiest TV time snack or an all time favorite party snack for those chirpy gatherings of friends! Bring out as many mugs as the number of friends! Eat chit-chat and come alive!

Dessert – Sweet Desire Jelly Omelet
What you need (for one serving): 2 big eggs, a pinch of salt,1 tablespoon sugar, about half cup warm water, 1 tablespoon butter, 2-3 tablespoon jelly or your favorite jam or marmalade to fill in, some fine sugar to sprinkle
Come let’s cook now: Break the eggs in a bowl and take out the egg yolks in a different bowl. Beat the yolks until they are thick and become light colored. Add salt, sugar and water to the beaten yolks and mix well. Now come to the bowl where egg white is resting. Beat them nicely. It should be all stiff and barely slid able when the bowl is tilted. Heat an omelet pan on the burner. Melt the butter and tilt the pan in all corners to let the butter spread evenly. Now gently spread the yolk mixture and let it spread evenly on the pan. Before it is half cooked, spread the egg whites over the yolk mixture and spread with a spatula. Let it cook for a while, around 1-2 minutes. Gently lift the omelet’s edge to check whether it is cooked properly. If it is well puffed and a little golden brown underneath, gently turn it over to let the top cook a bit. Omelet is cooked properly when you touch it and it does not stick to your finger. Remove from flame. Now spread a generous helping of your chosen jelly or jam or marmalade over one half of the omelet (remember not to make it drippy) and cover the rest half delicately over it. Sprinkle fine sugar for that added crunch. Your yummilicious omelet dessert is ready to be savored!
For those little adventurer ones, you can replace the jam filling with melted chocolate or ice-cream dollops for that matter! Let the imagination flow and so will your culinary skills!
So mates, here were the eggs at their best! Bring us more if you have!
