When you are hosting a part, you need to make sure that you don’t get caught up in preparing food for the guests and end up not enjoying your own get together.
There are two kinds of people.
Those who love to attend parties and those who love throwing them.
If you are part of the latter, then serving yummilicious snacks is quite a task.
But not to worry when we are here for your rescue! A little planning and love for the guests mean a rocking get together. So what are you waiting for?
Let’s try these lip-smacking snacks that won’t take too long to prepare and will leave you with ample time to burn the dance floor!
Mini Burgers with Cheesy Onions
Burgers are loved by one and all but sometimes they can get boring. So let’s do it differently this time. For a serving of 12, add 4 eggs, bread crumbs from 4 bread slices, black pepper and minced chicken or paneer in a bowl. Add salt to taste and some seasoning. Shape this into 1 small patties and grill them for 8-10 minutes while turning the patties halfway through grilling.
Time to add our special touch to the burger now. In a pan, melt butter and add onions along with some black pepper, thyme and salt. Add mozzarella cheese to this mixture and stir until the cheese melts. Place the patty on the bun and top it with the onions. Serve with ketchup and some good music!
Herb & Spice Paneer Fritters
These will be a hit with adults and kids alike! Roast some cumin seeds in a non-stick pan and put aside. Now add paneer, coriander leaves, chopped mint leaves, one finely chopped spring onion, grated ginger, and crushed garlic in a bowl. Put two beaten eggs and two tablespoon plain flour in the bowl. Mix it and add salt to taste. Shape them into flat cakes or longer cutlets and fry them until golden brown. Serve them with lemon wedges and sweet chilli sauce.
Chicken Nachos
Who doesn’t love NACHOS!!! Stir garlic and onions until soft in a heated pan with olive oil. Add to this shredded chicken, salt and pepper. Toss the mixture for about 4 minutes. If you have salsa at home, add it to this combination. Now arrange tortilla chips on a large baking sheet. Spoon the chicken mixture over tortilla chips. Top them with loads of cheddar cheese and tomatoes. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Bake the nachos 10 minutes, or until cheese has melted. Sprinkle with green onion tops before serving.
Grilled Meatballs
This is one of my favorites!
And so easy to prepare too. Beat six eggs into a bowl and beat them lightly. Add lamb mince, grated onions, minced garlic, fresh chopped parsley, ground black pepper, and salt to taste. Mix until the mixture holds together well. Make small ovals with hands and thread them onto metal skewers. Grill them after brushing with olive oil and you’re ready to impress the guests!
Stuffed Mushrooms with Spinach
For a serving of 12 healthy yet delicious mushrooms, you will need 4 tablespoons of melted butter, 2 cloves of garlic, 2 tablespoons finely chopped onion, ¼ cup of grated cheese, chopped spinach and 3/8 cup of heavy cream. Boil or blanch the spinach and put aside. Melt 3 tablespoons of butter and mix in onion and garlic. Cook until tender and then add chopped mushrooms stems and heavy cream. Bring the cream to a boil and after taking it off the heat, add parmesan cheese along with salt and pepper.
You must now stuff the mushrooms generously and drizzle 2 tablespoons of butter on them. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Butter a 9×13 inch baking dish with 2 tablespoons. Now bake the mushrooms for 30 minutes. They will turn light brown, which means they are ready to be eaten!
God I can’t wait! Let me go and plan a party! You do the same this weekend and enjoy these heavenly snacks with your friends and family!
