Finding chhole bhature is not tough here but there are some places that serve the most authentic ones.

We are listing here, five such places that remain in hiding but are extremely popular for their taste and price of the bhaturas.

Chacha ke Bhature

For more than three decades now, the USP of this place has been aloo-stuffed bhature served with a green tangy chutney and delicious chhole. For the health conscious, there is chhole kulche that are less on oil but great on taste! They also sell the chhole masala that you can use to recreate the taste in your kitchen. Last we know a plate of aloo bhature cost Rs 40. Shocked? Well we were too!

Address: Take the first right when you are entering the main Kamla Nagar Market, New Delhi from Bunglow Road. Or just ask for Chacha ke Bhature once you are in the market. Don’t confuse it with Chache Di Hatti! That’s another good eatery though.

 

Sitaram Diwan Chand

Unique in the way they make their bhaturas, this shop is so crowded that you might get frustrate and leave. But don’t you dare make this mistake. A plate costs just Rs 40 and the bhaturas are made in advance and then reheated just before serving. This means that they are not the usual fluffy variety. The bhaturas are stuffed with paneer and accompanied by home-made pickle and green chillies. Mouth watering isn’t it?

Nagpal Corner

Hidden away in the by-lanes of Lajpat Nagar is the place where people from all parts of the city come to have a plate of chhole bhature. Known for its yummy chhole and big bhature, the place might look like it is not very hygienic but you will keep coming back for the taste. Priced around Rs 50, it is an excellent start to a hectic day.

Om Corner

Serving chhole bhature for more than 35 years, Om Corner has become synonymous with this street food. Over the years, the oil in the bhaturas has come down drastically and the traditional chhole have become popular by word of mouth. The price still remains a decent Rs 50 for a plate and it is quite satisfying in terms of quantity and quality.

Nand Di Hatti

Another great place hiding in the crowded Sadar Bazar is Nand di Hatti that has gained popularity through word of mouth. Their USP is that they use desi ghee for their chhole bhature. Pickles and onions add to the already exploring flavors in the mouth.
