We have often seen Hollywood actors munching food and having a good time at posh or cosy restaurants. The 21 Club, The SmokeHouse Restaurant and Randy’s Donuts are often depicted on the big screen.

Eonline.com lists restaurants that are often used for filming purpose:

The 21 Club – The New York restaurant has provided the setting for numerous movies and shows, from “All About Eve” to “Sex and the City”. The 21 Club is featured in “Wall Street”, as stockbroker Bud Fox (played by Charlie Sheen) gets a taste of the high life and off-menu steak tartare.

The SmokeHouse Restaurant – Located next to Warner Bros. studios in Burbank (Southern California), the SmokeHouse is said to be serving “fine food at a fair price” to the film industry insiders and movie stars since the mid 1940s. In “Argo”, Tony Mendez (Ben Affleck’s character) and Hollywood makeup artist John Chambers (essayed by John Goodman) meet and discuss things.

Randy’s Donuts – Located here, it has been offering donuts since 1953. It has been featured in flicks like “Coming to America” and “Earth Girls Are Easy”. In “Iron Man 2”, Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) indulged in Randy’s glazed goodies while reclining inside the 22-foot donut sign.

Tom’s Restaurant – Only the façade of the New York restaurant was featured in the series. Tom’s is now a popular spot for tourists and Columbia University students.

Katz’s Deli – It is another New York restaurant, which was used for filming few scenes of the movie starring Meg Ryan and Billy Crystal. It was opened in 1888.
